The Festival of Ideas is currently erupting in Bristol with a huge range of events intended to get you thinking.
Established in 2005, the Festival of Ideas aims to stimulate the minds and passions of its attendees with an inspiring programme of discussion and debate throughout the year.
This year one of the highlights will be a visit from author Monica Ali on May 29th who will be discussing her transition from writing her first book, Brick Lane, to her recent follow up, In the Kitchen.
Both novels present an intriguing look into the challenges of cultural differences faced by immigrants in London, with acute observations of human nature.
The event takes place at the Watershed Media Centre, Bristol, and tickets cost from £4.50.
