Bridge House Publishing seek new short story submissions

Following the success of their first anthology Making Changes, Bridge House Publishing are looking for new short story submissions.
The publishing house is now also now publishing stories for children.
Current books under production include 12 Days of Christmas 2009 (working title), which will comprise 12 thought-provoking stories of 4,000 to 8,000 words. The deadline for submissions to this book is June 30th 2009, and the book will be published in November 2009.
If you have time over the next week, you might be able to meet the May 30th deadline for An Advent Calender of Stories, which will contain 24 non-religious, life-affirming stories of 1,000 to 3,000 words. They should be suitable for junior school children, and should make a good ‘assembly read’.
Bridge House are particularly keen to promote new writers, and looks out of stories that are a little unusual and a step above the everyday.
