If you are an emerging playwright eager to get your work performed, the HighTide festival 2010 could be the ideal showcase.

HighTide are a production company whose purpose is to source, develop and produce the latest emerging talent in new writing. They provide the opportunity to work with outstanding mentor figures selected from amongst the leading established artists in the industry.

Each year HighTide premiere new work at the annual HighTide Festival in Suffolk at The Cut, providing fantastic opportunities for new creative writing talent. After the festival, HighTide carry on supporting the life of the plays with both national and international transfers and tours.

They are currently looking to fully produce and premiere new works by emerging writers, and invite playwrights from all over the world to submit scripts written in English, on the basis that all selected writers will be available in the UK for the dramaturgy, rehearsal and production period from November 2009 to May 2010.
