Receiving rejections seems to be part of the writer's job, but that doesn't make it any less painful. I try to make sure I always have a project in progress so that while a feature, story or synopsis is out there in the world of submissions being battered by editors and agents, another is quietly maturing and getting stronger, ready to take over as soon as the first one needs a rest! How do you deal with it?

How do you deal with rejection?

Ooh, rejection is the hardest part of it all! If the editor/publisher/agent gives any feedback I try to make use of it, and I always makes sure I have somewhere else in mind to send the work to next. It isn't easy though!
