Indulge your love of creativity by applying for a job that will require you to immerse yourself in literature, music, film, art and fashion.
Open, the online arts and culture magazine founded by former Daily Star journalist Loma-Ann Marks is flourishing, to the extent that they’re advertising for a Deputy Editor.
“Working as part of a small team, the role requires someone with passion, vision and commitment who is buzzing with ideas and keen to build Open’s name,” says Loma.
Experience in arts and culture reporting are very desirable, and responsibilities will include writing, commissioning, subbing, working with freelancers and interns and publishing articles.
The role would suit a senior writer or section editor ready to take on more responsibility and challenges.
Please send your CV and details of your current salary along with examples of your published work and three feature ideas for Open to editor@openmagazine.co.uk by Thursday 19th March 2009. The job will be based in London.
