Opportunity for writers of stories and poems in the ghost and horror genres

© Emil Bacik
If you have a talent for the unsettling, the spooky and the downright terrifying, Freakout magazine wants to hear from you.
The small press magazine was dreamt up by Glennis Horne, a Devon-based writer with a taste for the supernatural. She hopes to launch the quarterly magazine soon, making this a great opportunity to get involved with a publication right from the outset.
The magazine is currently seeking submissions of short stories, poetry and articles of no longer than 2,000 words. The submissions can be as serious or tongue-in-cheek as you choose.
Glennis was inspired to set up Freakout magazine following the closure of a small magazine called Chillout, which published short horror stories and poems.
Though there will be no payment for work accepted for publication, in the future there may be a chance to win small prizes for the best items in the magazine, chosen by the writers themselves.
The magazine will offer subscriptions £10 per year.

Hi,
Is there an email address for Glennis, or does he prefer only mail correspondence?
Thanks. Amalia.
Hello Amalia,
Glennis only has a postal address at present, but once the magazine is up and running this may change.
I spend a lot of time reading blogs and I have to say I’m impressed with your posts. It’s refreshing to find a blog that has valuable content such as yours.
