International Railway Journal offers opportunities for writers with a love of trains

© Paulo Oliveira Santos
Established in 1960, International Railway Journal is one of the world’s leading monthly B2B railway-industry magazines with a 10,000 worldwide circulation of senior managers and engineers. They are currently seeking a full-time journalist to report on the booming global railway industry.
The job will involve researching and writing a broad range of railway-related news and features. An excellent writing style, meticulous attention to detail and a flexible attitude are essential, while a passion for trains and a knowledge of modern railways would be an advantage.
Although the successful applicant will be based at the head office in Falmouth, Cornwall, you must be willing to travel overseas, so foreign languages are desirable. The publication has correspondents and regional editors based in China, Denmark, Canada, Pakistan and other countries around the world, revealing the scope of coverage in both their print and online versions.
If you’re interested please email your CV and covering letter to db@railjournal.com by October 14th 2009.
