Online start-up company Socket Creative is looking for an enthusiastic, up-and-coming freelance writer to contribute to their first travel and migration website and their expanding portfolio.
This is a great opportunity to get involved with a growing company right from the start.
Key responsibilities of this journalism job
The role will involve writing and uploading news stories and features to the site, helping manage its interactive community and devising ways to attract new members.
Key skills required for this journalism job
Good writing and computer skills are essential, but full training will be provided on how to upload to the website.
If your application is successful you’ll be working flexible hours, initially at £50 a week, rising to £14-16k pro rata as business grows. Where you work is up to you as Socket Creative are equally happy to have you working at their offices in central Bath, UK, as from your own home.
In return for your efforts you’ll receive full training on how to write for the online market, prepare images and format text for the web, and how to use Socket Creative’s content management system.
