In the Same Boat, a new company focusing on playwrights, are hosting the first of its events focusing on inspirational playwrights. Write to Play, an evening with Mark Ravenhill, will take place on Sunday 30 November at 8pm at Theatre 503, The Latchmere, London.
Offering budding scriptwriters with an incredible opportunity to learn from one of the most notorious playwrights to emerge in the UK in the 1990s, the event will provide to Mark Ravenhill’s life and work, after which you’ll have the opportunity to read from one of Mark’s most contentious plays, and join in a discussion with him about his styles, methods and themes of writing.
Mark Ravenhill is known for penning controversial plays such as Shopping and Fucking and Totally Over You.
