With the job market picking up we’re in a buoyant mood at EssentialWriters.com this week, and are posting news of two fantastic jobs for journalists, one on Monday and one on Saturday. On Monday there’s a job opportunity for sub-editors seeking a role on one of the UK’s major men’s magazines, covering everything from fashion to politics.
On Tuesday we’ll publish Emma Bragg’s review of Stephen King’s On Writing, one of the quintessential guides to writing.
On Wednesday read Beccy Downes’ review of the DVD We Live In Public, directed by Ondi Timoner, two-time winner of the Sundance Film Festivals prestigious Grand Jury Prize.
On Wednesday afternoon read an enlightening interview with comic strip writer Rob Murray.
On Thursday David Bright tells us about a short story writing competition seeking “imaginative entries“, then return in the afternoon for my interview with Adam Foulds, author of the Man Booker shortlisted The Quickening Maze.
On Friday Fran Hill will be offering valuable advice on the art of editing your own writing, and improving it enormously in the process.
Return on Saturday for our second hot journalism job of the week, providing opportunities for journalists with a passion for theatre.
