If you’re an experienced nutrition writer with the ability to produce authoritatively written features on food, Virginmedia want to hear from you.

To be in with a chance you should already have built up a reputation in the nutrition industry, with bucket-loads of opinion, experience and contacts and a proven track record in breaking nutrition stories.

If your application is successful you will be expected to provide expert features on an ad hoc basis for Virginmedia’s home and family channel. Virginmedia’s home and family audience have a keen thirst and hunger to read all the latest developments in nutrition and health relating to food, particularly surrounding diet trends.

Key skills required for this journalism job

Your will need relevant qualifications in nutrition, while being accustomed to writing successful copy for consumer titles.
You will be expected to be able to find new, compelling and sometimes sensationalist angles in nutrition developments.

If this sounds like you, and you would like to be Virginmedia’s diet and nutrition expert, please email michelle.smith@virginmedia.co.uk detailing your experience, and providing two strong feature ideas that would fit the virginmedia lifestyle brand.

The deadline for applications is Thursday February 11th 2010.
