WordHustler.com
WordHustler is a web-based writing services company that enables writers all over the world to submit manuscripts to US literary markets. Since its inception nine months ago, more than 9,000 writers have joined and the results have been impressive.
So far, more than 7,000 queries have been submitted to literary agents, 2,137 short stories have been submitted to publications and contests, 429 screenplays have been submitted for awards and/or representation, 1,566 poems have been sent to literary magazines and other publications, and 584 novels have been sent to publishers.
The submissions have resulted in a hugh number of success stories for the writers too.
“So far, over 50 WordHustler clients have had full manuscripts requested by agents, and 33 lucky clients have even gotten their short stories, poems and/or articles published in places like Gander Press Review, Ladygunn Magazine, Political Affairs, Puke!, and many more! The contest results have been fantastic as well!” says Liz Rich, Marketing Director. “We’ve seen some great feedback from our international users.”
WordHustler was formed in 2008 by Anne Walls and John L. Singleton, two Los Angeles writers who were frustrated by the lack of technologically-advanced tools available to professionally manage writing work.
WordHustler is designed to take care of the process of submitting work, and provides free comprehensive listings of more than 4,000 potential markets for your work, as well as integrated tools that allow you to send and track submissions.
Though there is a small fee for some of the services, ranging from $.99 for submissions of under four pages up to $0.10 per page for works longer than 50 pages, it is a huge timesaver, leaving you with the luxury of more time to focus on writing.
